Personal Books - Links between documents.

I am creating PBs of commentaries that Logos does not sell and sometimes the commentary will have the following "see chapter 1:2". I am creating a Word document for each chapter and adding to the PB that I have created for that commentary. How do you create links between documents in the same PB?

That would be the only way to link articles in different Word files because Word's hyperlink/bookmarking applies only to the current Word file. So build your personal book and then use the Wiki method to get the resource link e.g. go to Mark 5:34 in the PB, press Ctrl+Alt+C and paste it into the relevant Word file:-

[[Mark 5:34 >> logosres:pbb:de78698e84fa404fa9d30d9c2ea23064;ref=Bible.Mk5.34]] will go to Mk 5:34 in your commentary.

Thereafter you just change the bible reference at ref=Bible. for other articles in the PB. ---> Mk 5:34 is a label and you can edit it to be see chapter 5:34.

Let me add a warning here. The ID of the PBB is unique to your entry in the personal books tool. If you share this resource with other users, they would have to change the link. If you remove the PB from Personal Books and later re-add it, you would have to change the link.

Yes. It would be better if Logos could allow a dynamic PBB identity to indicate the current PB e.g.

[[logosres:$pbb;ref=Bible.Mk5.34]]

Recompiling would still be needed in the circumstances mentioned.
