Bookmarks: Adding and deleting Bookmarks to many times eventually causes app to not function correctly...

I create my own reading plan by adding and deleting bookmarks all the time. I believe that after i have added and deleted bookmarks enough times the app stops functioning. It won't load Bible pages any longer.

Does anyone know how to completely remove all traces of an app from an iPhone so i can really start fresh again?

Welcome to the forums.

To delete an app, go the home screen on the device. Touch and hold one of the app icons for a couple of seconds. All of the app icons will start wiggling, and the deletable apps' icons will have an 'x' in the upper left corner. Press that 'x' to delete the app.

I don't think Logos would expect the app to quit working if you add and delete bookmarks a lot. I could see it becoming less responsive if you continually add bookmarks such that they end up in the same notes file. Large notes files can cause performance issues. But I wouldn't think that adding and deleting should, so it could be a bug.

Do you use the Logos desktop software? If so, you can look at the notes file there and see if it has the notes / bookmarks that you expect it to.

Thanks. Yes, I deleted the app in this manner and reinstalled it, but it still won't work anymore. After reinstalling, I noticed that the app remembered things it shouldn't know if it was compeletly removed from the iPhone, so I was wondering if there was a way to remove all traces of the app so I could really get a fresh start with it?

as of now it still will not load Bible books for viewing even after the reinstall?

Deleting the app does remove EVERYthing. The app, however, is designed to sync across platforms via the cloud. It seems like there may be some problem with your account. Do you have the desktop client? Are you using the free resources only, some select paid ones, or a base package?
