Could not load the specified book
A new problem here -NIV 1984 won't load even though it's saved on the device. Any suggestions?

I seem to remember there being an issue with an update to the NIV84.
i suggest you remove it from your device and download it again.

I have a similar problem ... NIV84 will not "load specific book" if it is installed on my iPad. If I remove it from the device and i am connected to the internet, it loads just fine. Any ideas?

I experienced a similar problem on my ipad. I was unable to load/use the ESV off-line.Once online, I deleted and re-installed it. Then it worked fine off-line. There apparently are books that need deleted and updated as they are incompatible or corrupted.

I've reproduced this and will write up a case. It's a book bug and happens on both iOS and Android.

The NIV84 has been updated and the issue has been resolved.

Did you ever get info on the ESV not being loaded? I've had this problem for over two weeks and would love to get back to reading with the ESV. If I have to uninstall/reinstall Logos, will my notes and highlights still be there? Thanks.

I removed both the ESV and the NIV84 and then downloaded them. They now work correctly.

First, welcome to the forums! [:)]
Yes, your notes & highlights will be there… as long as you have had your device connected to the internet. Your notes & highlights should sync to the Logos servers. Do you have L5 installed on a computer? If so, you should be able to verify that your data is safe and sound. You could also try installing one of the other Logos apps on your device. Your notes & highlights should download to those apps as well.
