turn off all highlighting

Is there a way to turn off all highlighting?I would like the option to view books clean, without my mark ups and then to turn the markups back on on all at once.I would envision this to be similar to the option to turn off community notes.

In the Settings menu there is an option for Notes - allowing you to toggle the display of Notes on and off.
As highlights are special cases of notes, toggling this off will turn off highlights (but it does turn off indications of notes as well).
