Exegetical Guide Properties

How do I set the Exegetical Guide properties. That option seems to always be grayed out. I must have known how to do it at one time, since it is set for the Old Greek. I tried using SEARCH and it came up with a dialog box for what features I want. But it isn't clear how I get to that dialog box.

I'm afraid I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, so if I've misunderstood, perhaps you could rephrase your question with a little more detail. If you want to change the settings of an individual section of the exegetical guide, then hover over the section heading, and you should see a settings drop-down (not all sections allow you to change the settings). If you want to change the entire guide, then choose Make a new Guide Template from the bottom of the Guides menu.

I want to say which Bibles to use (Hebrew, OG), which dictionaries, which grammars, what books to look for citations in (say DDD, Anchor Bible Dictionary).

To implement the instructions below, you'll need to understand Prioritizing and Collections. Follow those links to get more info. Feel free to come back with specific questions if you need further help.

which Bibles to use (Hebrew, OG)

That's on the drop-down menu below Word by Word. By default it uses your most highly prioritised Bible that has morphological tagging.

dictionaries

The lexicons used in the Word by Word section are those that are most highly prioritised.

grammars

You can't change the order in which grammars appear (Logos tries to put the most relevant at the top), but you can limit the section to only certain grammars. First create a collection of the grammars you want, then change the settings for that section.

citations

This is not a standard module in the exegetical guide, but you can add it in from the Add menu. The module you need to add is Collections.

Then change the settings of that section to choose the collection you want.
