BDAG & HALOT or Biblical Languages Upgrade

I am heading into seminary this Fall and was looking to get the BDAG & HALOT package. Before I make the purchase I also looked at the Biblical Languages Upgrade. To my surprise they are about $20 different in price. Now for what you get number of books wise this would look like a no brainer!, but how many of those books am I actually going to use.

I have the Logos 5 Silver package.

This all depends on what your focus is in Seminary. But I would say you're going to get BDAG and HALOT sooner or later. You might as well get them now.

I have both and I am sure I use some of the biblical languages package but not sure which ones.

I use BDAG and HALOT all the time depending on which package I am preaching.

1. Folks here can answer your question, but it's best that you consult people familiar with your particular program.

2. You may want to buy stuff on Logos only after joining the Academic Program.
