Faithlife, iPad and document posting
I have written my notes for this week's Small Group leaders, this I have done on my iPad. I now want to be able to upload them to our Small Groups area on Proclaim. However, when I click on upload a document, the box that appears only asks me to choose from my photos.
How can I send my document to the group, without having to go home and open my Mac? This occurs by the way whether I am in the Faithlife App, or just on Faithlife through Safari. Thanks

Does anyone have a thought on this? Logos team?
Thanks

Terribly sorry for the delayed response!
To share a Logos note with your group you will need to follow the "Share a private document" link, just below the "Upload a document" link (we will be changing the text of that link to "Manage your Logos documents" soon, so it may say that instead by the time you read this). That link will take you to Documents.logos.com where you should see a list of all of your documents. Tapping on an item should display an "Actions" dropdown on the right. From there you can choose to publish a copy of the document or start collaboration with a group.

Hi Will
Sorry about the lack of response, but can I seek some clarification?
- How are you creating these notes? What format are they in?
- You mention Proclaim. How does that figure in what you are trying to do?
- how are you trying to upload your notes? Using the community notes feature or something else?

Hi Graham
firstly, my mistake. I meant Faithlife app, not Proclaim.
i have written these notes in Pages, exported as a PDF, and it's that PDF that I want to post to the Documents tab under my Faithlife group. I can do this from my Mac, but on my iPad, I only get the option to upload an image from my Photo library, rather than the PDF that. Have just made. I hope that helps. Will

Hi Will
Thanks for the clarification.
And I get the same results as you if I try and upload a document to a faithlife group from my iPad.
I guess its related to the separation imposed between apps within an iOS environment but would really need someone from Logos to comment on this.

Bump.
Anyone from Logos able to comment on this?

Graham, you are correct, the iPad will not allow you to upload anything but images to faithlife.com at this time.
