Thank you for your contribution! You are forum champion!!! [*]
Multiplied thanks to the lady who never sleeps, and is always super helpful.
Ha! Though I've mostly reformed my ways, at this moment you couldn't be more on-the-money with that comment. Right now it is 6:45am in my time zone and I've been up all night working on stuff I had to get done, and I still need to get a couple of hours of shuteye before church because I'm leading worship this morning. Aaggh!
Thank you all for your kind comments.
Many thanks Rosie
And hope you have a blessed time as you have the privilege of leading worship.
Graham
Wow ! 13000 ! Rosie, have someone look at your fingers—I think they're probably worn to the bone from all that typing. Congrats and thanks for your contributions.
Yes, thank you Rosie!

Jerry is correct, of course. You -- Rosie! -- are a very valuable Logos "Resource," for which so many have been so thankful for a very long time ... Thank you! Thank God for you, eh???

Really! How do I download her to my Library? Sorry Milford, was just too good to pass up. [:D]

Since she's in Canada you would probably need to pay import duties. [;)]
Downloads in the Bahamas are free. Glad Logos no longer sends me books by cd. Cost $4.00 and took several weeks.

A Logos Chair should be established in your name. Thanks for all your helpful and perceptive posts!
I like how you are thinking. Expand on the idea.
Your challenge has caused me to define my terms. Here goes. The function of chairs at educational institutions are twofold. One is to attract the brightest scholars and two to help defray the expense of remuneration of the professor.
As Logos enters the arena of education with Mobile Ed. It is prudent to establish an endowment to defray the expense of having professors in residence to guide and develop materials to present to the public.
Rewarding loyalty, effectiveness, and productivity by naming a chair in honor of the value an individual has distinguished herself in is an excellent reward and encouragement for future MVPs. Thank you for allowing me to present in sketch this idea that better minds than mine can better develop and run with.

Sounds good, and she is a deserving individual. My suggestion would be to set up a criteria and have it on a rotating basis. Say every two years, name the chair in honour of someone else. The names of several MVP's come to mind.
Congrats, Rosie! Thanks for being such a helpful contributor!
How do I download her to my Library?
Depends. Unfortunately I do not run on iOS or Android devices.

Here are some possible choices for the Rosie Perera Logos chair:
A) A comfy chair for Bible study (I'd probably want something even comfier than this, but it's what came up in a Google images search for "logos bible software" chair)
Maybe this one is more your style:
An ancient church professorship (Duccio, Maesta, 1308-1311)
C) A Logos Image search for endowed chair comes up with this:
(St. Pierre is almost Perera).
How did he crank out so much work sitting in that thing. It is hard as rock.
He could not get comfortable and fall asleep? [^o)]

Jack, you beat me to it.
It says it's his chair in the pulpit. Maybe he preached from a seated position (as they did in Jesus' day; sitting down denoted a position authority). Perhaps he did his writing from a different chair. But most chairs back then were pretty uncomfortable, so I doubt he'd have had anything much better than that. However, while chairs were hard, cushions have been around since at least the Middle Ages, so maybe he had something to sit upon that made it a bit more comfortable.

We're talking about the state of Washington right... How 'bout this one:
Just being "smart" isn't good enough.
Here's a lady that isn't just intellectually smart, but abounding in grace and sensitivity as well. [:D]
Thank you Rosie for your great help.
I would like to have that second chair
A bit late, but thanks, Rosie! You have always been so helpful, and sometimes the only one awake that could solve my problem! [:)]
