homepage problem

The sidebar contact information for our group is correct. However, under the "About" menu the homepage address is incorrect. There does not seem to be a field for this under group settings. Suggestions? Solutions?

    Sorry you're having trouble. In Group Settings, click on the tab "Group Details" and you should see fields for location, email, and phone. These fields populate the contact information widget.

    No worries: Here is a bit more detail: Previously I edited the contact info so location, phone, and even the web address ( http://www.rmbc.org ) is fine in the "Contact Information" space. However, if you click on the "About" drop-down menu under Rocky Mountain Bible Church (Frisco, CO) you will find a field for "homepage" that lists http://rsbce.org

    Clicking the rsbce.org link takes you to the homepage of the Rockies Southwest Bible Church Extension. They are fine folks and, once upon a time when they were the Rocky Mountain Bible Church Mission, we were associated with them. [They helped save our church from extinction back in the 1980's.] Still, we graduated to independent status about 23 years ago and have no official ties with them other than the debt of love we owe them for their ministry to us in the past.

    Anyway, now the homepage ought to be http://www.rmbc.org and I either don't know where to change this field or don't have the ability/authority to do so. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    You currently have the group using the wiki backed description.  

    Go to your group edit page:  https://faithlife.com/rmbc/edit
    Scroll down to around the middle to the "Description" section on this page

    You'll see you have the checkbox set to use this Faithlife wiki page for description checked.

    You can either edit the wiki page that is referenced there and update the web address or you can uncheck the box and update the description field there in the faithlife group editor to say what ever you want it to say.
