Logos 5 Crash Mac

My Logos 5 crashes as soon as I click on the icon. I've deleted it and reinstalled it several times but no matter what it will not open. I seriously need to complete some seminary assignments that I use the software for but I'm unable to even log in. Any ideas on how I can fix this ASAP???

In order to help you, we will need more info. You could try loading to a blank layout... But if that doesn't work, you'll need to enable and post logs. See my signature line for more info. The following thread might also be informative.

To load to a blank layout, press and hold the command key immediately upon startup.

Please edit your last post and delete the apple crash log... We don't need it, and it isn't helpful to us to post it in the forums... (Carpal tunnel and all). Please enable and post logs. The thread I linked to above will help you understand more.

It appears that you have a corrupted database file. You will need to use your best judgement about taking my advice... I am only "half" techie... I think that you need to move your LibraryIndex.db file to the trash can and restart Logos. You may have a very long indexing to follow. Here is the path to the file:

/Users/Jonah/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/rvhbp1cj.xsv/LibraryIndex/LibraryIndex.db

NOTE: In OSX 10.8, the user library is hidden by default. One way to access your user library is to open a finder window, click on the "go" menu, and press & hold the "command" key. This will reveal your user library. Then navigate to the folder shown above.

Personally would move the Library Index folder to the trash:

/Users/Jonah/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/rvhbp1cj.xsv/LibraryIndex

to force Library Index creation of eight files.

Concur indexing can take hours.

For what it's worth, I think KS4J is spot on. The log seems to contain pretty clear indicators that something has corrupted the primary index (LibraryIndex).
