I don't remember seeing the indexing icon in the software after installing on Windows. How do I know whether indexing has been completed?

When you go to do a Search you will see an obvious message if indexing is not complete. There should also be no logos icon in the Windows notification area (on the bottom Taskbar). If Search results produce obviously wrong results there could also be a problem.
The icon says, " Resources are ready to be added."

This means that the resources have been downloaded to your computer but not yet integrated into the Logos environment.
If you click on the icon you should get a popup inviting you to add the resources. Once you have done this, indexing of these new resources should start
