And Studia Biblica (5 vols.) looks like it only needs one more bid.
Others that are close:
This one isn't quite over 100% yet, but it likely will get over 100% over the weekend and close next Friday as well: Studia Biblica (5 vols.)
I think I said that...[;)]
Oops. [:)]
All four of the products closing next Friday are great deals. And there are so many other CP's that are very close to making it over. One that I am looking forward to is Bede's Ecclesiactical History - 4 volumes for $6! Jump in on that while you're at it.http://www.logos.com/product/32317/bedes-ecclesiastical-history
Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.)
The CP page indicates that the above resource in included is the XL Catholic Study Bundle, The Medieval Preaching and Spirituality Collection and Verbum Master (and above). So will this be added to those who own one (or more) of the above collections for free?
Oops spoke too soon. I do already own it. It shows in my library. Well then:
Different editions. The 'also included in' section is wrong.
Best I can do is 5 of the 8.
Bump.
A Plain View of the Claims of the Orthodox Catholic Church just went over the top.
Studia Biblica has also gone over.
Updated list:
Updated list: Confessions and Catechisms of the Orthodox Church (3 vols.) The Greek Orthodox Church A Plain View of the Claims of the Orthodox Catholic Church Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.) Select Letters of St. Jerome (2 vols.) Studia Biblica (5 vols.)
And the whole six books/collections currently go for $50 !!!
That's why I love Community Pricing! Some of the best value in Logos is found there.
And now we have the following closing as well:
Ten on the same Friday. Must be a new record.
Ten products closing on one day is amazing. Let's drop some prices before Friday.
Can you count them? Ten! Ten!
The Greek Orthodox Church is currently at $2! If enough other people bid can we get this for free?

If enough other people bid can we get this for free?
I think one person bidding for nothing adds up to the same as alot bidding for nothing.[;)]

Well, Daniel ... in my 20 years (this past SpringTime!) as a Logos Bible Software user ... I've never before seen a Community Price as low as 2.00 (American!) ......... Wow!
Psalm 29:11
The Lord from Heaven: A Study of the New Testament Teaching on the Deity and Humanity of Jesus Christ went for $2.

Very true Evan. I know there is no way to drop the price to $0. But even $2 is a bargain, and we have over two days to drop it even further.
Thought I would add Spiritual Combat to the list for this Friday. We didn't know when it would peak, but it seems that it has happened sooner, rather than to our advantage on Thursday. Either way, let's bid this one up!
[:)]
Thought I would add Spiritual Combat to the list for this Friday.
It already is on the list: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/73492/513536.aspx#513536.
Peace, fgh! *smile* Yes! I must praise your prodigious memory, eh??? You are absolutely correct. Just checked my orders and forgot about that one. Well-done! I also looked for another one at that price and couldn't find another ....
There are now nine of them that are closing on Friday.
?? I count eleven on http://www.logos.com/products/search?Status=Community+Pricing&start=&sort=progress&pageSize=15
Guess I miscounted. [:)]
11 products consisting of a total of 34 resources currently at a total price of $109.
I would especially like to see the Henry Cowles Commentary Series drop to $30.
http://www.logos.com/product/8502/henry-cowles-commentary-series
It's too late for this week, but the Works of Charles Hodge is sooo close...
It would be great if Hodge went over soon so we would have a week to drive the price down.
Final list with current prices:
Closing next Friday:
(Great job getting these over just after noon, but how could they have gone down so many steps in next to no time?)
Close:
EDIT: it's only four hours after noon, and I've already had to move three resources from 'Close' to 'Closing next Friday'...
Final list with current prices: Confessions and Catechisms of the Orthodox Church (3 vols.) $9 The Greek Orthodox Church $2 A Plain View of the Claims of the Orthodox Catholic Church $5 Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.) $5 Select Letters of St. Jerome (2 vols.) $5 Studia Biblica (5 vols.) $20 To Students on Greek Literature $6 The Westminster Bible Dictionary $8 The Spiritual Combat: Together with the Path of Paradise, or, Of Inward Peace $6 Henry Cowles Commentary Series (16 vols.) $35 The Apology of the Church of England $7
There is still time to get in on these 11 products. Take a look before it is too late.
The Cloud of Unknowing $6
It doesn't say who translated it - it looks to me to be a horrendously bad translation. What is it with the translation fetish at Logos? This can easily be read (and ought to be read) in the original Middle English.
I may, however, pick it up just for the Underhill introduction though.
The Apology of the Church of England $7
Hah, that surprised me. Never knew this even existed. Very curious to read this.
I've had bids on the Jerome and Boethius volumes for a while. Thanks for the reminder!

[:-*]Don't tell anyone, but do you know what I just found, thanks to you? This is the exact same translation that can be found in the Files forum perfectly free, introduction and all. (The translation is also made by Underhill, btw.)

Now worries fgh, it's our secret! LOL! Well, I like Ms. Underhill very much - so I'll forgive her for the ridiculous translation and keep my bid active.
I cannot believe how impetuous I am when books are close to closing.
There is still time to bid on these products. Don't miss out!
The Loeb Classical Library edition of Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.) is the same edition that appears in The Medieval Preaching and Spirituality Collection (34 vols.), as well as the Catholic Studies Bundle, XL (300 vols.), Master Bundle, XL (1,171 vols.), Verbum Master, and Verbum Capstone. We mistakenly listed Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.) on community pricing along with several other Loeb Classical Library collections in an effort to expand our product offering for classicists under Noet.
If you bid on Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy (2 vols.) but already own it, we’ve cancelled your order and sent you an email notifying you about this. In other words, those who bid on this product while already owning it because of having purchased one of the above collections will not be charged a second time for the Boethius resource.
Additionally, since the original language text in the Loeb Classical Library volumes will be morph tagged, those who already own Boethius’ Theological Tractates and Consolation of Philosophy will receive this update to the Latin text for free.
Thanks Mike! [Y][:D]
I appreciated receiving an email today about this. This is my opportunity to say thanks.
Thanks, Mike. Got the e-mail today. I also appreciate the free update.
