Close:
That is quite the list. I am wondering if this trend of lots of resources closing on the same day will continue in the weeks ahead.
Oxyrhynchus Papyri (vols. 1–15) (Do you really want this to go over at the current price?)
Yes, We have several CP items that have stalled. This one might show that if you want something you just might have to bid high enough to pay for it.
The Catholic Encyclopedia (17 vols.) Bid at 30 needed to get it now 90
English Bible Collection (27 vols.) Bid at 30 needed to get it now 80
The Speaker's Commentary (13 vols.) Bid at 44 needed to get it now 64
I can't afford this. I wish I could. [:(]
Wish i could get this :-(

I wish that this was $50 and not $150. Obviously there are many who are happy (edit - "willing") to pay $150.
Thank you, fgh! I put in a couple of bids because of your post.

a) I hope that everyone who'd be willing to pay less has also put in a bid for that amount, so that it doesn't go for $150 just because the rest of us have given up before even trying.
b) This seems like the kind of resource that will almost certainly turn up in the next round of base packages, so in the long run I suspect that those of us who don't buy at $150 will get a much better deal. (At least that's what I tell myself.[:D])
In spite of the fact that I linked to six resources as "Close", the first new one over the top is one that was further down when I made the list: The Monasticism of St. Basil the Great (2 vols.).
Note: Logos has added $1 increments to three more resources, so now we have even better chances of getting the prices down.[Y]

I like that!
I already see Hodge's commentaries in my library. Not sure if the rest would be enough incentive.
I too have all 4 of them (currently on sale for $74.99 plus the Life of Charles Hodge currently on sale for $35.99. Because dynamic pricing doesn't apply this set is less attractive to me. I'm still undecided. Can anyone make a good case why the rest of the set (without these 5 books) is worth $90?
Edit: After thinking about this some more I have moved this question to the thread called Community Pricing on Works of Charles Hodge because I didn't want it to get lost in this discussion. If you are responding to this specifically please use the other thread. Thanks.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau Collection (5 vols.) is now over 100%.
Additionally, Bede’s Ecclesiastical History (4 vols.) is incredibly close to going over. [:)]
Final list:
11 this week as well!
Additionally, Bede’s Ecclesiastical History (4 vols.) is incredibly close to going over.
Yes, it was and it is, but please don't try to push things over the top 34 minutes before noon on a Wednesday. We want CP's to go over Wednesday PM to Sunday, so that we get as long time as possible to get the prices down. Wednesday AM is as bad as it gets in that respect.
Now, however, would be an excellent time for it (and anything else) to go over.[:)]
Bump in case someone is about to miss out.[:)]
Pull bids back to $100[:D]

I personally think $100 is too much. I know what this is and would like to have it, but not at that price. Simple reason is...I will NEVER get $100 worth of use out of it...much less $150. That's just ridiculous. I doubt I would get $50 worth of use out of it. Mainly, this resource is a curiosity, as in I'd be curious to see what it says in those rare to occasional researches that reference it, but curiosity is all it really is. All of those references listed in the product description will tell you what the O.P. says...nevertheless, I'd pay about $70-80 for it.

Hey David,
$70 or $80 is in view once we establish support where the graph shows there is a strong supply of bidders. As for your comment that this resource amounts to nothing more than a "curiosity;" I cringe.
The papyri are grounded in mostly scripture as you are more than certainly aware. Any ancient text material that addresses the autographs are central to the grasping of the scripture we have available in translation today.
Thus the ability to do text criticism or at least to "follow the bouncing ball," so to speak, is important to the believer. This is why I for one am interested in this resource and yes I am curious to examine this information for myself. And it seems I'm not alone.
Siding I think with fgh this entry is a bit over priced. Let us work together to move this work into a more affordable range. It will take willing bidders. I for one am confident it is achievable.
