New beta releases will be available via Google Play and beta update channel

Thanks to recent changes made to Google Play we can now offer beta versions of the Logos apps from the Google play store. If you are interested in helping test out the latest and greatest features and improvements in our beta apps please consider signing up to receive automatic beta updates via the Google Play store by following these two simple steps:

1. Join the Logos Android Beta Users community on Google+

2. Opt-in to installing the beta version of the app on the Google Play store listing page on your Android device.

All beta feedback should continue to be posted in this Android Beta forum.

The Beta testing info/warnings post has been updated with this and more information about our beta program.

A new beta will be posted soon and it will be the first available via download links as well as via Google Play.

First, make sure you've opted into the Google Play beta channel. You can find instructions on how to do that for each Logos app here: https://plus.google.com/105626621756565749498/posts/EsAvCQ9PZNZ

Second, I had to go to the app page, leave it, and go back again before the "Update" button showed up for me. Maybe that will fix it for you too.

Nice! This will make things easier to keep track of and I won't have to worry about not installing the Play Store version & losing beta updates capabilities.

The only downside I've seen so far with the Google Play beta program is that you can't opt-in per device. It's only per app. If you want the beta version of Bible on one device and the stable version on another you need to manually install the beta app.

Where can I find the beta version? I have opted-in, got the page which told me I'm a tester, but in the Play Store I can't find the Beta version, just the stable one. As a matter of fact the last update updated me to the current stable version.

We promoted the Beta version to Stable, and currently don't have the next beta ready. You are running the latest version available.
