I must say I'm pretty stoked about this, though I am confused about how detailed our Faithlife profile has to be....

Ditto. I just went and "completed" it. It said 50% complete before, now it doesn't give a number. I only wonder because I don't have a Twitter or Linked-In page, so I can't get it to 100% if they're going to count those. There didn't seem to be a way to indicate n/a except leave them blank, so I assume that's sufficient.

I had the same issue William. I believe that if it doesn't give a percentage that it is 100% complete. It also says on the page "Your entire Faithlife profile must be filled out. You can omit the Organization, Organization URL, Website, Twitter, and LinkedIn fields if not applicable by September 2."

Right, that's the part that confused me, how much else do we have to fill out? I don't really have an about me or anything.

I updated my Faithlife profile, but it shows as only 40% complete. [^o)]

I assumed that I needed to fill out "about me," so I did. I just added little things like how many kids I have and what authors I like.

I'm concerned that the requirements for this offer are stricter than the Profile page requires for it reporting itself as complete. My profile was deemed complete, but I had a lot more blank fields than the ones listed above. For example, phone was blank, and it's not listed above. So I filled in everything except "Organization, Organization URL, Website, Twitter, and LinkedIn" to be sure.
I hope we don't have disappointed people who thought their profile was done because the website said so, but not enough for the promotion.

For anyone who's just completed the profile, try closing down your internet and restarting. That should help Faithlife recognise the update. Completed profiles show no %

Now about the Faithlife profile. I filled everything out, but adjusted the settings of who can see what. I hope none of that affects whether we receive the certificate or not.
Thanks again!

When I log in to mine it now just says "Edit Profile" it doesn't give me a percentage. I guess it must be complete. I do agree it should say "100%" or something to let you know it's been fully completed with the exceptions they mentioned. Who's going to check what's applicable or not when they decide whether you qualify for the gift certificate or not? That's another question...hmmm...I'm sure they'll do the right thing in the end.

I filled out everything. I even included my linked in account and it refuses to recognize it as correct. It will not go above ninety percent for some reason. I have no problem with the promotion and with doing what is requested but it is frustrating when things don't work correctly.

o.k. I figured it out. You have to use compete sentences when telling about yourself. Make sure to use periods. Once I did that in the bio everything was fine.

The same thing for 90%, and I shut down, unplugged internet and checked back and still 90%

Thanks very much. I have already accepted the free commentary on Mark, and will also want the $20 gift certificate. I am tempted by several of the discounted offers, especially if paired with the $20 gift certificate.

The profile refused to keep an update in any field using Google Chrome. IE worked fine. I have no idea if I get the certificate or not. I hope. I just spent down some of my credit.

I highly recommend:
I had the book in print before it became available from Logos. I use it frequently to clearly communicate Biblical and theological terms/concepts to my Sunday School class in an understandable way. This book fits the job perfectly.

FYI, You won't be able to pair them. The discounts end on Sept 2, and the gift certificate won't arrive until mid-Sept.

Did it say 100% when you finished or did it just say "Edit Profile." I get no percentage numbers, that's why I'm asking. Maybe I should go back and check...help!

Ps. I don't want to miss out on the extra $20 bucks, as I already know what I want to buy with that...[:P]

with the way things are these days (hint:NSA)... I really don't know if I should share my private information all over again in the internet.
All your privacy for $20 + a book?
idk, sounds like a honeypot to me.

I had the opposite problem. After signing in, profile was at 40%. No matter how many fields I filled in, it was stuck at 40% filled in. I concluded I can't qualify, erased all info (I'm much more comfy that way, anyway), & signed out.

I'm very sorry for all the trouble in getting your profile updated. We have discovered a bug that may cause your completion percentage to be frozen. We are working on getting a fix out as soon as possible today.
In the meantime, you can try checking the completion percentage in a different web browser or clearing your cache (advanced browser users). Also, make sure you remember to upload a profile photo.
Thank you for your patience.

I am trying to edit my Faithlife profile and am not sure how to save the changes I make. What am I missing?
It automatically saves. Whenever you click or tab to another field, you should see a green checkmark next to the field you just finished indicating that the data made it to logos. If that's not happening, I suggest trying another browser. Make sure you have javascript enabled.
