Bug: Main Screen not being restored to full screen from taskbar

I think that there is a thread on here somewhere for this but could not find it.
OS: Vista
L4 Ver: Beta 3
L4's main screen is resizing itself to less than full screen when pressing the title on the taskbar to restore it (this is a windows feature, when pressing the title on the taskbar it toggle between minimize and restore). See steps below to create the problem.
- Open L4 main window, make sure that you click the max button for full screen size.
- Open the Library with Ctrl-L. Make sure that it is sized to something that is not full screen size.
- On the task bar, click on the Main screen title (to minimize the Main Screen).
- Next on the task bar, click on the Library title to minimize it. Then click on the Library title again to restore it.
- Now on the task bar, click on the Main Screen title to restore it. It will now open and instantly resize to about the same size as the Library window.
It should have restored to Full screen, but resizes to a non-full screen.
I can repeat this every time.
This is not a show stopper, but it is not following windows standard operations. I had seen this happen in B2, but did not know how to reproduce it until now.

Sorry Steve. I didn't realise that was in the Private Beta forum (which is only supposed to be an historical record now).

Yeah, this is a slightly different bug to that one which was fixed prior to release...
I can reproduce this bug in Windows 7 also.

Thanks for confirming that this happens on another system! Posted this in Bug log.

FWIW, this does not reproduce on my computer. Not sure if this has something to do with video drivers???
Vista, B3
Does a "non-repro" report help? If so, should it be included in the wiki bug report?

Hmmm. Jon was able to reproduce it. I marked it pending. Guess according to the definitions on the Bug page, Logos will try to confirm. As it stands so far, 2 out of 3 have confirmed it.

I'm not a windows programmer, but clicking on the taskbar actions probably don't define how the OS sizes the window. All other apps that i run work properly. This Minimize/Restore action works all the way back to XP. Like i said, i'm not a windows programmer.

By the way, I should mention its not to so much the action of clicking on the task bar; minimising it in any way does it (the task bar in Win 7 works completely differently and you can't minimise windows by clicking there, so I reproduced your bug using the minimise button at top right)

Steve,
I agree with you, it needs to be reported. I'm just wondering if by reporting a non-repro it can provide some info that might identify the difference in what we are doing or what are systems are that is causing it on one system and not on another using the same OS and version of L4.
I know I didn't give any specs that help, but neither did Jon, and the wiki doesn't ask for them.
I guess if we post logs to the forum the link in the wiki to the post will let Logos have those specs.
Should that be a "standard" procedure for a bug report?
