BUG: Text Comparison Tool does not display first verse of a chapter well

Please have a look at these screenshots:
This is what I see when I navigate to the first verse of any chapter in my Text Comparison window:
When I enlarge my Text Comparison window, I see that the information is present, but only after a big white space containing a dash:
For any other verse, things are just fine:
Back to displaying the first verse of a chapter: Strangely enough, The Message places the dash and white space after the verb, not before like all other versions I have selected:
Can anyone confirm whether this is a bug, or not?

I'm not seeing that on my computer. It's possible that there's a problem with that verse in one of your Bibles (I don't own all the Bibles that you do, and can't see them all, anyway). Have you tried it using a smaller subset of Bibles to see if you can narrow down if there is one Bible that causes the problem?

The Message Bible does not appear to have verse 1 appropriately tagged. It should be reported as a typo.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I hadn't tried that, but this is it! It turns out that The Message was causing this issue. When I took this version out of the list, things appear to be normal.
So, is this a bug related to The Message? Or is Logos trying to tell me that this version simply does not belong between the other Bible Translations? ;-)
Thanks a lot for your great advice Mark! Much appreciated.

Okay, I will do that. But a random check throughout the Bible shows that it's not just a tagging error in this chapter, but in many more (though not all).

In general, paraphrases do not align well with versification. But the compare feature handles them fairly well - in this case treating it as verse zero.

Does this behavior change when you play with which translations you are using?
