I know of him because he's quoted a lot by Oswald Chambers. I like his translation. It seems that most haven't heard of this translation before.

I had Moffatt in hardback but never used it much. I would welcome it in my Logos library, tho'.
I ordered the NT since the 1971 RSV NT resembles it. I want to compare the 1971 RSV NT with it to see where they say the same and then avoid those parts! I would not want to pay all that much for it though - wish it would be Community Pricing.
I wanted to ask about this resource again because of the recent surge of content from Moffatt! We have his New Testament Studies and his New Testament Commentaries bundles, but not his Bible. Hope to get this some day!
