Logos App Functionality on iPad
I'm new to the Logos App on iPad and would appreciate a bit of info, please.
Do the various Reverse Interlinears not function on the Logos iPad app?
Do I only get Louw-Nida info in a Greek Interlinear when connected to the Internet?
Is there any way I can get Strong's/other Lexicon info links to the text of the ESV & NASB like one is able to do in Accordance and Olive Tree
While offline? ..........While online?
Are there any other basics I should know - I couldn't find a detailed "How to" for the Logos iPad like the marvelous "User's Help/Guide" that Accordance provides.

RI functionality is present but - in general - the RI information can't be displayed "inline" as on the desktop.
Long-press a word and select lookup and you will get some tagging information. Please note that this is only available when online as the function is carried out on Logos servers.

Yes. As above, a lot of these functions are carried out on Logos servers.
There are frequent discussions and requests of Logos for more functionality to be available when offline.

Using the "Lookup" popup as referenced above - and going from there into Bible Word Study is what is currently available.

Hi Graham,
Thank you so much for your prompt response and the info.
I had anticipated that Logos would be on par with Accordance and Olive Tree, whereas they are obviously lagging behind in certain important areas. It seems that the App is not truly portable in that one is tied to the 'apron strings' of the Logos servers in order to access certain basic info.
I guess one can still hope...

Unfortunately Logos seems to have no plans on changing that, but that being said it is still a very functional reader, with offline capabilities when you select download.
