Change interlinear settings?

When I'm on my phone, and I want to open up a Septuagint, for example, The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint (H.B. Swete edition) it comes up as an interlinear. That's fine, of course, but sometimes I just want to try to figure out the Greek on my own. On my Mac I can get rid of everything except for the Greek text, but I haven't found a way to do that yet on iOS. Is there a way to do that? Or is it outside of the app's functionality?

I believe the appearance of each resource in iOS is controlled by the interlinear settings on your Mac. You can't control it from the phone, but the settings are synchronized. That is the way it works on PC anyway.

Unfortunately, this is not the case currently. I know that at least one Logos employee (non-programmer) has repeatedly stated that the settings sync between desktop and mobile… but this has shown not to be the case. Interlinear resources on mobile have been in an "always on" state. Perhaps there was a build of an OLD version of the mobile app with the sync feature… but the app doesn't work that way currently.

I've just tried it and it still works for me—turned off all except the top line of the Lexham Interlinear Septuagint and turned them back on again. It can take a minute or two to take effect, and I had to kill the iOS app and restart it.

Steve Runge taught me this. I think he was using a Mac notebook and iPad, so it should work for you.

So, it's a bit hit and miss, but it can work.

If you set it up and leave it alone, I expect you would see what you want on iOS—I have my Discourse Interlinear set to manuscript only all the time. Changing settings frequently is more problematic.

Runge was the one who said it before. You are the first person I know of to find the system to work.

As Graham mentioned above, this is being reworked in the 3.5 version. Today's dev build fixed a critical bug but it's getting close.
