"Edit highlight" or turn a page?

In the screenshot above I have just pressed the far-right of the screen in order to turn the page.

As you can see, instead of turning the page it produced an "edit highlight" popup.

if I press further down the screen - below the level of the highlight - then the page is turned as expected

The screenshot is from the Verbum app but the same thing happens on the Bible one

What version are you running? I'm on beta, running iOS 7 and can confirm. Did you mean to post this here?

This was noted on the stable version of Verbum running on iOS 6
