Why can't there be "mini" indexing?

In another post someone asked if indexing could go away for the desktop version. In response a Logos rep said that the only way to get rid of indexing on the desktop is to have it done on Logos servers like the mobile app. Which requires an Internet connection.

this peak my interest because of the statement about the mobile app. I understand why we probably wouldn't want to index our library on our mobile platforms, but why couldn't there be an offline index of just the books download? A mini-index.

J.D. ... great to see your ideas on the forum!

I'm new to iPod and generally keep it offline. But it does offline searches on my loaded Logos books (I think).  So you're suggest more speedy?

I don't have any ios products. I only acess my library on mobile devices running Android, and links and searching isn't as robust on non Bible resources.

    Hi J.D.,

To which post are you referring?  This is somewhat incorrect information concerning the mobile apps.
