Mac 10.8.4
Logos 5.1 SR-3 (5.1.0.0979)
I've been trying to update logos for several days. I start an update, then it hangs somewhere between 5-10%. I've left it running 2 or 3 days and it never moves.
The LogosIndexer runs like crazy the whole time. The computer really heats up, too. I've tried this several times over the last couple of weeks and get similar results. I end up killing the LogosIndexer process or rebooting.
This time I started after a reboot. It said I needed to download 943 MB. I told it to start. It ran a while then hung at 5%. I was still connecting to the Internet, so I'm not sure why it chose to stop. I've got about 29GB of free space on the HD, so that shouldn't be an issue.
After it hung, I closed Logos. I restarted and waited - the update window did not show up. The blue icon said downloading 5%.... I reran Update Now and it said nothing is available. I clicked to close the message and the app crashed.
To be clear, this is a new problem for me. I've been using Logos on this machine for a couple of years and have never had trouble updating. I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm living in Accra, Ghana and don't have the best internet connection, yet, I've not lost the connection during the download. Or, if the connection did drop, it came back pretty fast. I'm not sure how tolerant logos is of a dropped connection. I hope it's pretty good since I'm using it in Africa.
Here's my handy dandy log file.
I'm going to try this next, pause the indexing and continue the download. But, any advice is very welcome!
