Rebuilt my index by typing in the command box "rebuild index".
Indexing the three books offered on Vyrso today, they are nearly finished, and the system seems more responsive and indexing faster.
So rebuilding the index makes indexing faster[:)]
I think it would depend on the drive (if not an SSD) and the degree of fragmentation. Also if you had a lot of hidden resources the rebuild would remove them from the index.
Interesting. Would be good to hear from someone at Logos if it's a recommended practice to rebuild every once in a while. I know with other programs that I use that have database-type thingies I have to do it periodically.
Just downloaded three novels.
Daughter of Joy, Daughter of twin Oaks, Fools Rush In.
Will time the index and report back later.
Interesting....hmm
