Hi All,
Im studying Deuteronomy and I would like to see all the maps pertaining to that book. I cant seem to figure this out.
Thanks!
Jason
Jason, the easy way is to go to a Passage Guide, type in Deu 1:1. Then close all the sections except 'Places'. Then type in a much longer section of Deu.
Now fair warning ... typing in 'Deu' may crash L5 for you (it's one of my crash-L5's in the current competition). So be careful what else you have going on in your L5.
Jason, have you tried to use image searching?
This will get you false hits because it will look for references to Deuteronomy in the text nearby which might not apply to the map shown.
I did this search in my Library and got only a few hits.

Thank you everyone for your help. Looks like I may want to invest in some good maps. Any suggestions?
Thanks again!
Jason.
Do you have the NetBible?
Good maps at the back, all indexed.
Good notes for study, too.

Jason,
The NetBible maps, like other map resources, are really good to view in reading mode ....F11. One of the great innovation in L5.
I did an image search for maps, with the query <Deut>, Deut*. The best maps, in my opinion, came from the ESV Study Bible. I felt many maps were missing, though.
I also created a custom passage guide and included just one section on Biblical Places. I ran the passage Guide for the whole of Deuteronomy, and it gave me the significant places to look at, complete with previews of maps and images. After Clicking "Show More", I was able to pull out interesting maps quite easily. Memory use can be a problem though, so I'd recommend closing all other resources before doing this. <edit>This is very similar to Denise's advice, above.</edit>
Not all the maps relate directly to Deuteronomy, but they will be of places that are important in Deuteronomy.

I didn't know the NET on Logos had the maps!!! So, I tried to do this but couldn't. Hitting F11 on my Mac just decreases my volume. [:)] Does anyone know how to do this on a Mac?

Hi Josh
I believe it is Shift-Command-F - from Logos Help "Mac Keyboard Shortcuts"

That's it! Thanks Graham. I should seriously learn some Mac shortcuts. I seem to do everything the hard way.
Speaking of the need for amazing maps. In my opinion I love the maps in Carta. Cast your votes today to see this resource in Logos - https://prepub.uservoice.com/forums/183407-general/suggestions/3718024-add-books-from-carta
I'm not exactly sure what you are wanting as far as Deuteronomy maps are concerned. Are you talking about the first five verses? Besides those, the north edge of the Dead Sea on the east of the Jordan is pretty much where the whole thing transpires, as verses 1 & 5 indicate.
