When I try to open Logos 5, it immediately crashes before even a window is open. Sometimes it will show the "signing in" box and sometimes it won't, but then it just stops and the program returns to its unopened state and I don't even get notification. I have attached logs. 8765.LogosLogs.sgtthee.20131015-065811.zip
Hi Stephen,
One of Logos' internal databases is corrupted. If you delete it, Logos will attempt to re-create it next time you start Logos (startup will take a bit longer as a result).
The file is /Users/sgtthee/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/3sn1805l.y56/ResourceManager/ResourceManager.db
Forgive my ignorance, but where do I "go" to find and delete this line?
You aren't deleting a "line." You are deleting a file… specifically a database file named ResourceManager.db. Mark gave you the path, which I will add below as well. You need to open your Mac OSX user library, and follow the path until you get into the ResourceManager folder, and then delete the .db file.
I did notice, however, that your software is out of date. You logs show: Starting application (5.1 SR-1, version 5.1.0.0950) on Mac OS X 10.6.8. I would recommend downloading the new engine first. You can do so via the install link in my signature line.
The path you need to navigate to is: /Users/sgtthee/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/3sn1805l.y56/ResourceManager/ResourceManager.db
