Android app features?

I recently purchased a Nook HD+ solely for the Verbum app.  I wanted to have the awesome Verbum cross referencing and searching ability to take with me to bible studies, however, I seem to be unable to access most of the features from the nook.  Right now I'm really only able to use it as an electronic book.

The tutorials are very unhelpful.  How do I access the great linking / cross referencing features of Verbum on my Nook?

Thanks

Nate

The mobile apps are not the equivalent of Logos Desktop and were not designed to be.  However, you can create notes, highlight text, use the  Passage Guide, Text Comparison and Bible Word studies, use Reading Plans, create Favorites and Search resources.  Biblical cross references are fully supported, assuming the Bible you are using has cross references.  I'm not sure what you mean by linking: do you mean panel linking (the ability to read a bible and have the commentary follow along in a second panel)?  If so, that too is supported.

If it's like iOS, it needs to be connected (not-offline).

This is true for the Guides but the rest of the features work offline if the resources being used are downloaded locally.

Ok, none of the tutorials I've seen refer to any of the things you've just mentioned.  I've seen the one about splitting the screen and tapping the screen to get more options.

Here's what I mean by cross referencing:  on the desktop I can click on a verse / citation etc and I have it set up where all my resources (or any combination of my resources) are scanned to find any references to that verse / citation.  Those references are listed in a side column.  This is the one feature I was hoping for because when I do street evangelization or apologetics, I could use the nook to reference additional citations, verses, Catechism paragraphs, etc.

Is this available for the tablet?

    Yes:

    - Upswipe on a verse, then tap the Search icon
    - Select the Basic button, then choose Entire Library from the drop down menu.

Because search collections are not yet supported in Verbum on Android you are limited to the predefined "Entire Library" and "Recent Resources" along with whatever resources you've searched from.  For example, if you search from the ESV, that resource will be added to the drop down menu list.

Note: if you plan on doing this offline you'll need to download all of the resources in question.
