Bill .... I am not blessed with IE11 (I'm on IE6!!). But it 'sounds' like javascript is turned off on the browser?
I've had the same experience as Bill. Any help is appreciated.
I've resolved to using Chrome because of all the errors and closing on IE 10 and IE 11, especially with windows 8>. For the Java and some of the other problems, possible fix is to put IE into compatibility mode. If you are using windows 8, ensure you go to desktop option and then get new java installed and enter IE from desktop. A lot of sites and programs that go to internet are still Java controlled. I have not updated to 8.1 on this computer yet. Microsoft site explains more about the problem with Java and ie needing to be in desktop mode. Just a thought that I hope will help.

I've installed java (verified by an attempt to reinstall, just now), but I'm not sure how to turn it on or off in IE 11.
Regardless, in Mozilla, all the buttons & formatting are back. It's an IE 11 problem. [:(]
Bill,
I think I have a solution. While in IE 11:
1. Click the tools icon (gear) in the upper right hand corner (or tools from the menu bar)
2. Select Compatibility view settings from the drop-down menu
3. Add logos.com to the list of websites (mine was empty)
4. Restart IE 11
That seemed to work for me.
Blessings,
Steve
(I'm on IE6!!)
Off topic, and out of curiousity ... Why are you still running IE6? I work in the web group of a major bank, and we've finally convinced the powers that be to drop support for IE7 on our sites, with IE8 hopefully not far behind. We're always curious what keeps people from upgrading, especially when MS has done forced upgrades for IE for a while now. Are you on an operating system that pre-dates Windows XP?
Again, just curious. Thanks,
Donnie
We just deployed some server-side updates that should fix IE11 compatibility. I'm composing this reply in IE11 on Windows 8.1.
It has multiple paragraphs.
It has formatting but not emoticons. (I'll file a bug on that.)
2. In Reply to a post, select text to copy in my reply.
It kind of works, but always inserts the selected text at the top of the post.
Emoticons are now working in IE11. [:D]
We don't recommend this approach (especially now that server-side fixes have been deployed to enable forum post editing with IE11 not in compatibility view).

Thanks a bunch. [:)]
