How do I get rid of Logos partner offers?

I always reject all sharing of information with partner enterprises. That's why I was not expecting to get this in my e-mail from -

I thought it was from Logos, so before checking it out, I forwarded the news to several friends and then went on a trip. I'm back now so I checked it out and I see this in the terms and conditions - If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each successive subscription term. Such billing will occur without further notice to you. Should you choose to discontinue your subscription for any reason before expiration of the then applicable subscription term or the trial period, you may cancel your subscription and terminate future billing by calling 866-282-5360.

I detest these automatic subscription schemes and I want no more of them. I had to give my e-mail to make libronix and now logos products work and I didn't mind because I thought logos would only use it for my interaction with them. I'M GREATLY DISAPPOINTED.

I would feel the same irritation. Go to Logos.com and sign in to your account. Click on "Email Lists & RSS Feeds". You can "Unsubscribe from all marketing emails" or you can unsubscribe from "Partner Offers". This should take care of the problem. Good luck!

If I remember right, one or more sweepstakes'y offers on Logos included agreeing to 'Logos Partner' mail. Main reason I didn't participate.

The irony is that when Logos hinted at a similar approach (sign-up = opt in), the forum came a bit unglued. I wonder now how much customer info Logos shares with their 'partners'.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you. I'm not sure how this happened but this is not "normal". I've never received an offer from any Logos that I have not signed up to receive. I would suggest that you call Logos directly and discuss your situation.

We don't share any customer info with people who email our Partner Offers list. They prepare their email, send it to us, and then we send it to the list. They have zero access to individual customer information.

Colin, I'm sorry for your bad experience. I can verify that you are unsubscribed from all marketing email that we send out. It's possible that you could still be signed up to Faithlife notifications, FeedBurner RSS-to-email emails (like new Pre-Pubs, the Logos blog), or blog comments. Each of these is controlled by a separate system, but they should have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

You will still receive non-marketing email (i.e., an order confirmation) from us if you continue to make transactions. It's also possible that you could be notified about changes to our privacy policy, etc.
