As a Mac user, if I upgrade to OS X Mavericks, will my current Logos 5 be adversely effected? In other words, is Logos prepared for that kind of a hardware upgrade? Thank you!
Welcome to the forums Rich! [:)]
is Logos prepared for that kind of a hardware upgrade?
I think you mean software upgrade. [:P] In any case, the answer is yes. I am running L5 on my MacBook Pro with Mavericks installed as I write to you now.
I upgraded from Lion to Mavericks today. Pretty painless installation, and Logos 5 is working great.
It's working fine for me on my Mac Pro with Mavericks. With one exception that I have discovered so far. The Control-Shift P keyboard shortcut does not toggle column in a resource for me. I use that a lot because I like to read with footnotes at the bottom of the page and then position for the next reading session with no columns.
Anybody found anything else?

That's been the experience of most users, but a few have noticed the changes Apple made to footnotes in iWork.

I have a 4 year-old iMac and an 18 month-old MBA. Both run Mavericks and both run Logos 5 without any issues.
But WHATEVER YOU DO if you use Pages 09 don't upgrade to Pages 5 unless you are prepared for a serious degradation of functionality in Pages. It's become a pale shadow of what it was.
Every blessing

I believe Apple keeps a copy of Pages 09 in your apps even if you upgrade...
But Apple users, you have been warned. The great iOS - Mac OS X unification is coming!
Nope. Everything points to the opposite. (Common elements between the two doesn't equal unification).
Does anyone know why Roarings Apps says it is not compatible?

Type in Logos 5 to check compatibility.

Nope, but I find the site wrong often.
Although Mavericks did cause a speed bump of getting upgraded apps in line with it, I am rather pleased with it so far. Logos 5 runs very well on Mavericks.
