Graham and Rosie! Big - Big - Big *smile*
I think I'm back in business thanks to you! Truly appreciated! It's frustrating when I get my Senior's Moments!
Oh, Well!
........... and Rosie! A Happy and Blessed Birthday to you! God grant you a good year ahead -- close to Him - close to your Loved Ones -- close to His Church!
Thank you, Milford. My birthday is All Saints Eve. It is also Reformation Day, as Oct 31 was the day Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the "Castle Church" (Church of All Saints) in Wittenberg in 1517.
I'm sure you've taken the "kidding" over the years ....
Oh yes, I've received my fair share of cards such as "Happy Birthday to my little witch" and other such nonsense. I take it in stride.
As a Lutheran I'm well aware of the date and the happening and rejoice in it! Here it is for 99 cents, eh??? .... .... https://www.logos.com/product/589/disputation-of-doctor-martin-luther-on-the-power-and-efficacy-of-indulgences
@Milford: I made the link clickable in the quote, to facilitate checking it out: it's FREE in Logos' current Reformation Day celebration sale.
@Rosie: Though I'm a little late, take my congratulations and best wishes for your birthday! [^]
Peace, Mick! Thanks very much indeed! I'm glad you caught the "free" also for others!
Blessings to you! (I've been having problems with IE Explorer format, and this morning I'm using Chrome) Am going to try once again to bring my IE back to normal .......
Finally I have time to get back to you wonderful people with my continuing problem!
Thanks for the care and attention you've given me so far ..... thanks for the links ....
However, it doesn't seem to be working ... I'm using Google Chrome for this message, and it works here ...
Also, I seem to remember George having an ongoing problem with emoticons and other stuff even after he got all that help????
Here are two screen shots ... # 1 is IE Explorer #2 is Google Chrome
The Question is: How can I get the # 1 screen to look like the number two screen ...????
Any help is appreciated, please! *smile*

It works fine on IE for me. It probably has something to do with your Internet Options. Mess around with any of the Advanced settings that seem like they might have something to do with how stuff displays in your browser (remember what settings you changed so you can put them back again if it didn't fix the problem). Sorry, I can't even begin to guess which ones might affect it. You'll have to experiment.
And if all else fails, switch to Chrome as your default browser.
Blessings, Rosie! Great idea! I think I'll "poke around" with that over the weekend.
Sort of wondering about resetting Internet Explorer's settings to default .....
but .. THEN!!! ... I read the strict warning ...
........... so ... I'll "ponder" it for a while *smile*
To see the editing options in Win 8.1 editor of Logos, click on Tools> Compatibility View settings add logos.com to the Compatibility View: window, then close. IE may have to restart.
Blessings, Ron! *smile*
Thank you! I will be smiling all day long ......... It was a great annoyance; and your remedy worked perfectly -- no hassle!
am very pleased you've "popped in" to these forums ........ May the Lord give you Peace! ....and Always Joy in the Lord!
(an aside: Rosie, and others, I am also grateful for your efforts to help me. If anyone sees George Somsel around, please tell him about this thread ........ he's got much the same problem as I've had ...)

While I'm at it, I probably shouldn't leave the forum without saying goodbye to all my friends here. I wish you well and peace without my aggravation.
Are you planning to permanently leave the forums George?
Peace, George! It does NOT please me that you might be leaving the forums! If you feel you need to, please drop back now and again to say
שָׁלוֹם
Also, please permit me to say Thanks for all your positive interactions! *smile*
I DO thank God for you, George!
