I'm the one who mentioned the birthday gift certificate in the first place. I had no expectation that it was coming so I was completely (and pleasantly) surprised. I don't recall any previous mention of the program.

Someone from Logos mentioned that Logos has a birthday gift certificates program, can someone from Logos clarify some detail of the program, such as

1 is it only for customer in USA?

2 When will the certificate send out? As September is my birthday, and while I completing my Faithlife profile I did provide my birthday detail, but up to know I have not got gift certificates.

Sure. If you've updated your Faithlife profile to include your birthday, you will get an account credit to celebrate. It launched this month. It's not limited to US customers, but I believe we do them in batches. So you might have added your birthday after this month's gifts were delivered.

It's not random. This program is actually an extension of the personalize offers email list. If you're on that list, and you've put your birthday into your Faithlife profile we will send you a birthday gift in the form of a coupon code. If you're not on that list or if you haven't told us when you birthday is, we won't be able to send you one.

Visit https://www.logos.com/account/emaillists. Login. And check the box next to personalized offers. While you're there, also check the freebies list, because we have free products and giveaways all the time.

The Logos contact (name withheld), as I said, made it clear that the BD GCs were random and limited to a lucky few.

I am on the Personalized Offer list, i.e. the check box is tick, and I do get some personalize offer come into my in-box, I completed my FaithLife profile before the end of August, so is it to late to make the cut this year, or is it really a lucky draw.

Jesus cared so much for this earthly Jerusalem that he looked at it one day and wept (Luke 19:41; cf. 13:33–34; and Matt. 23:37–39). It may be that such caring is what is called for from followers of Jesus today.

Codes are tied to specific user accounts, so I couldn't (for example) use that code on my account because my birthday is in August. We found an issue this week in which the email list was synced after the codes were generated so a small handful of people were sent the email despite the code not being applied to their account. We are taking 2 steps to fix this:

1.) Activating the code for the small number of people we accidentally left out. (You're among them. I've checked.)

2.) Adjust our workflow to pull the list for codes & emails at the same time, so we can avoid this problem next month and forevermore.

During the Summer I created an extra Logos account for (a) friend(s) and moms tablet (when she retires - she's not using the tablet yet). The friend's birthday (one of them, that is) was in the end of October. If I remember correctly had to fill out the Faithlife profile, upload a picture - and do that several weeks in advance - according to someone at Logos who wrote in the forums they started syncing at the end of September. Got the gift certificate in early October and it said in the email when exactly it expired! Not knowing what someone would want I had to make some decision and buy something with it in the account. There's still no-one using the account. On Saturday two days ago I met a friend in the archipelago and he said he doesn't have enough English skills so he was not very enthusiastic about getting books from me. I can't provide anyone with books in the local language though, other than the Bible version which my mom uses - not the same as others use as she is older than all my friends.
