BUG BUG BUG: BCP again (sigh)

I built a BCP 1662 Psalter lectionary using the Bible citations for Psalm 119 of the NRSV my highest priority Bible. The area in yellow is omitted, the verse numbers don't correspond to the BCP which is being displayed ... all in all this is a bit of a mess. Yes, I'm aware that the Psalter does some odd versification and uses Latin titles as additional "chapters" but ....

If Logos provided the lectionaries as valued-added with the resources, they would have found at least two the problems. Or if they provided the same functionality for the BCP that they did for the Missal ....

Yep sadly this CP has left a bad taste in my mouth too.. not as functional/useful as I hoped for either

Since you created three threads discussing omitted verses in the different BCP books, I'm going to respond to this one.

I've looked into this, and it seems to all boil down to tagging issues for Bible text in these resources. In this example, verses 6 and 7 are omitted because they have periods after the verse # (the others don't) and got skipped in the tagging. The other missing text in the 1892 and 1928 psalters got omitted because they don't have verse #s listed. They're kind of "header text" following the reading title.

Obviously this was an oversight when these resources were tagged, and I've created a case for the Books of Common Prayer to be revisited to fix these issues. I will update this thread once they've been fixed.

Thanks for looking into this.  While most of the problems appear to be tagging issues, I'm not sure the display of verse numbers in Psalm 119 BCP 1662 is strictly tagging. The display seems to be using an incorrect source.

I've updated the case with the weird numbering issue. I wasn't familiar enough with these resources to know if that was intentional.
