Logos stops working, shuts down

I've encountered a problem with Logos shutting down after the main home screen opens. I've tried to fix it by going to control panel and clicking Fix" on the program, but it did not good. I even uninstalled the program and re-installed it, but the same thing happens. I've added the logos logs folder as instructed on the support page, hope you can find a solution for me.

This appears to be a bug in the home page (that I believe the team is already looking in to).

As a workaround, hold down the CMD key when you start Logos 5. You should see the Sign In dialog. Check the "Use blank layout" checkbox, then click Sign In.

The app should open to a blank screen, bypassing the home page (and the crash). You may have to use this workaround until an update is shipped.

Thanks for the note, but I tried your workaround, and it doesn't work. It goes straight to the home page and by passes the sign in dialog, proceeds to tell me that Logos has stopped working.

I also happened to notice that the pull down menu for windows 7 shows Logos working in the background and says it's 40% indexed. Why would that be?

I wrote "CMD key" but meant "Ctrl Key" ("Cmd" is, of course, for Mac).

Does using "Ctrl" allow you to see the Sign In dialog?

Thanks, Bradley, I assumed that was what you meant, and no, it does not work. Don't know if it is me or the program problem. BTW, logos finished indexing, but it still did not boot up, it shut down again. At this point, I will await some feedback from your side.

That is good to know, but since I can't open Logos 5, exactly how will I know when the update is available? Can someone send a notice or something? I'd really like to get back to using the software that I've spent a lot of money on and setting useless on my computer.
