What is new in ipad air?
I have recently bought ipad air I need your input for using Logos and anything related to it.And your recommendation of word document.

If you use Logos software then it shouldn't be hard to navigate the Logos app.

Hi Mike, this is not my new ipad,I have the first generation ,but the problem is ,it is slower,heavier,and not compatible to download apps due to the upgrade of ios 7.

Tes, as you've just bought a brand new iOS device, you should be entitled to download free copies of Pages, Keynote and Numbers for your productivity needs. I don't know how good they are, but they're worth a try since they're free. You can download them from the App Store. I've downloaded them but not used them yet.

As has been suggested you should make use of the iWork suit - Pages, Numbers, Keynote - these will all read the Microsoft created documents and when you up grade to a Mac desktop/laptop you will have got used to them.

Pages is wonderful on the iPad as it is connected to the cloud. Whatever you write on Pages is synchronized with the cloud, so you can access those documents on any other computer (Pages if you have a Mac, or iCloud.com if you have a PC). I find that iPad Air + Macbook work seemlessly together.
Also, iMindmap is a good mindmap tool to use on the iPad Air.
As for the use of Logos, don't hesitate to download books you read often and then turn off Wifi for offline mode. This will save the battery and increase speed performance of Logos since Logos won't try to sync to the cloud every now and then.
Also add your favourite Logos books to your Favourites (the Logos functionality), for fast access to those books on the iPad Air. This will prevent to make searches in your whole library to look for a specific book.

Thanks for the input. I am ready to download from the Apple store ,but the problem is I don't know which one I have to choose from the drop down.If you don't mind it would be good ,if you could mention them specifically.
