As a client of many years - I am going to continue to respectfully ask Logos to consider their constant updating and indexing. It makes me not want to open up the program - because I know there is high percentage chance that oh guess what - - oh great another update!!!! I have even stopped using it as my primary resource and for what I paid for the program that must tell you how annoying it is on my end!
Please --- before you tell me that I can turn off this feature or just wait to update or index at a convenient time, I know these things. I also know that as a user of other high-end software programs, the manufacturer can control updates and do so on a much more periodic basis. What is so mission critical that two and sometimes 3 updates take place in a week? Could they wait the 2 or three days in between & be updated once? I don't expect an answer from Logos as I have tried making this known for the last year. Just making sure that they see there are some individuals who don't care for this frequency.
