Viewing note documents in the app
Hey all,
I was wondering if there is a way to open and view an entire notes document in the app, and if that is possible, if a notes document can be viewed in split-screen (e.g., I could have the GNT open on top and then my note document (containing my notes linked to the text) open on the bottom half).
Thanks very much,
Chris

Chris - First, welcome to the forums!
It is not currently possible to view note files, passage lists, or clippings on the mobile app. Only individual notes, attached to verses can be viewed. See screenshot below:

Alabama,
Thank you for the welcome!
Thanks also for responding to and answering my question. Do you know if there are any plans in the future to add a feature to view note files?

As far as I know, Logos has not made any public comments on this. Sorry!

Would really like to see a menu, possibly in the more section, that will allow us access to our note files. The current implementation of notes is a big step forward, just need access to whole note documents to help make iOS app really useful for on the go study. Especially when looking to pick up where left off in logos 4

I totally agree. I do a lot of over seas travel and by having my notes come up on the iPad would be greay

I will second that suggestion.

Totally agree. Otherwise, what's the point of being able to create documents? I'm new, so I could be missing something?

Brent - Welcome to the forums!
I don't know if Logos intends to create this feature or not. My guess is that they will… at some point in the future.

The point is that you can create notes. Notice in my screen shot below that notes can be created and viewed on the mobile app. The only thing you can't do (which is what this thread is about) is to view all of the notes at one time. This, however, you are able to do in L4 on MAC or PC.

Thanks alabama24. I get that but for a software that is touted as leading edge, undoubtedly it misses the mark here. May seem like a small request, but being able to effectively manage notes and thoughts is foundational to any effective bible software. Otherwise all you have is a library and the bibles.
Providing a way to effectively manage thoughts and content is where it's at.

I ended up at this site because I too wanted to know if I could view "just notes" on my mobile app. Even tho' I can't, I think the app provides all I need when on the move. I can include notes to scripture references which allows me capture thoughts as I read and study the scriptures. The notes are instantly synched to my laptop. I think the desktop and app software are both wonderful and really full featured. Thanks.

Ho Robert - and welcome to the forums.
This thread is about 18 months old and the software has moved on a lot - including the ability to view and edit notes documents from within the app.
If you are having issues with this please start a new thread in this forum and provide as many details as possible
Graham
