Workaround for "Add to Cart" deficiencies

This morning I had a search results list of Logos products of which I wanted to add essentially all items to my cart. Unfortunately, there's no "add multiple" feature (i.e. using a checkbox); and clicking "Add to Cart" takes you to the "Cart" page, making it extraordinarily tedious to work through the items in a search results to add them to the cart.

I recalled that "Wish Lists" has an "Add all to cart" feature. So I created a wish list called "Virtual Cart." You can add items to a wish list without navigating away from the search results, so I added each item in my search results to the Virtual Cart wish list. It's still a bit tedious as you have to visit each item individually, click "Add to wishlist" and then uncheck / check the right wish lists. But it's significantly easier than navigating away from the page altogether.

Once I had added the desired items to my Virtual Cart, I went to the wish list page and added all the items from that wish list to the actual cart in one click.

I use a browser mouse trick to get past this deficiency that works pretty well. I use Chrome, but I think most if not all current browsers use the middle mouse button as a way to open a hyperlink in a new tab of the browser (if you don't have a middle mouse button you can assign this function to something else). So if I have multiple resources I want to add to my cart, I just middle click them - the cart confirmation page opens in a new tab; I close that tab (without penalty - cart stays active as the browser is still open), which reverts me back to my list of resources. So a number of resources can be added to the cart very quickly with click-close-click-close sequence! Works great.

It's been a while, but "bump" nevertheless.

There has been no progress in making it easier to add items to the cart from a search results list. My workarounds are to use the "virtual cart" method I described in the first post in this thread, or to open the resource in a new tab (e.g. right-click on its link in the list) and then add to cart from there.

Ideally, the "Add to cart" button on an item in the list would bring up a modal with options to "Go to cart" or "Continue shopping," the latter of which would simply dismiss the modal and leave you right where you're at in the list.
