I just tried to order today's Twitter deal with the code provided in the Twitter feed but it doesn't seem to be working for me. The book being offered today at 50% is https://www.logos.com/product/16411/life-in-the-face-of-death-the-resurrection-message-of-the-new-testament?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_content=dailydeal&utm_campaign=logos2013q4 It looks like a great resource.
Has anyone else had trouble with this? I hope this can be fixed.
If you thought scholarly discussions could not be edifying, this book proves you wrong. In keeping with the stated purpose of this series, this book attempts to bridge the gap between academic study and the life of the church. It does an admirable job of both. There is a wealth of information and discussion, but there is an impressive pastoral bent to many of the chapters.
That's high praise indeed!
I have just tried to apply the discount in Safari and confirm that it is not working for me either. I have DMed Logos via Twitter.
I agree that it looks to be a fantastic resource.
Yes, not working for me either
Just checked: not working for me, either
I just checked again and it is still not working. Any news from a Logos representative on this?
I can't find the deal anymore on the twitter page, it seems to be removed.
I just noticed the same thing. Looks like it has been but I still have the old link and I'm hoping still to use it.
confirm. So at least somebody is actively doing something about it - let's hope the deal comes out with a new code (or the same but working) soon!
I can't see it on the Logos twitter feed - is it still posted?
Here was the tweet (note that I have removed the code since we are not supposed to post it here) -

I'm not sure how they did it but it has been removed. I have an older copy in my browser tab that I am keeping open.
Just to confirm that it is now working for me. I have just purchased this at 50% off by using the previously published discount code.
Try again and, hopefully, it will work.

And its now back and working[:)]
I can confirm that it finally worked for me too. I'm not sure if anyone from Logos noticed this thread but I hope it helped.
By the way, for those who have not yet decided to go for this here is a bit of the description of the resource.
Life is for living, but there is also a dark side of life—the mocking specter of death that permeates every facet of human activity and invades every corner of our consciousness. But death is not the final chapter for the people of God. The New Testament proclaims a message of resurrection life that is victorious over death. This volume, written by eleven first-class scholars, brings into focus the resurrection message of the New Testament. Much more than just biblical exposition, these essays demonstrate how the resurrection both provides the basis for joyful living now despite the shadow of death and undergirds the Christian belief in a future after death.
