Logos reached a major milestone with me this past week with the recent Bible app update

I have a major investment in Logos books and have been watching the development of the Logos mobile apps to get to the point where I could truly stop using the OliveTree and Laridian apps. We hit that point this past week.

The new interface and accessibility of the app are much improved AND I can do scrolling although it is two-finger scrolling.

We are a couple of small changes away from getting rid of some small aggravations:

1) Why not make one-finger scrolling an option? Two-finger scrolling is clumsy for me.

2) When I pull up the library, how about another option in the dropdown to see books that are local to the device. I have a VERY large library and finding something is hard. The vital books I have downloaded to the device and if I could get to those quickly, that would be very helpful.

Beyond this, I'd like to see easy/better/faster ways to get the power of the desktop app into the mobile app. For instance, a good place to begin would be named sessions. That would really be nice!

Great job guys, I'm now completely using the mobile app.

I have a similar problem. There are two ways to work around it (at least on iOS):

Sort library by recent, which means the resources you use most often will be at the top.
Filter the library using the criteria local: (you have to use a lowercase 'l', and the colon), which just shows the downloaded books.

I've never used this option before. Too bad it has to be a lowercase l because IOS defaults to uppercase for first letters.

I'd agree Logos has passed OliveTree. Even on the old MS, OT had trouble with UIs.

With Laridian, it's still nip and tuck (recognizing Laridian's not remotely in Logos's ballpark OL wise). One key feature on Laridian lets me zoom along at high speed .... 'flipping' parallel books (Logos term). On Laridian, a left/right is a page-turn; up/down is alternate books. Goodness, you can go fast.

Outside of that, Logos mobile is pretty much a done deal for me.

Indeed. On my phone, I'm a one-hander, scrolling with my thumb. On my tablet, I generally use a stylus. (Hmmm...does anyone sell a two-head stylus?)

I'm guessing Logos programmed two-fingers so scrolling wouldn't be confused with other gestures.

Other than that, the Android app has become a joy to use, although I do eagerly await seeing my personal books on the mobile apps.

In fact I think the new Android app actually surpasses the desktop app in certain tasks. Reading and highlighting is for example much more pleasant on the mobile (For the books that are available that way). Ditto for quick lookups in dictionaries, as the desktop app is very slow if you cannot afford top notch hardware (since you use your entire digital budget on logos :-)
