My version is Logos Bible Software 5.2 SR-2 (5.2.0.0086). Is there a newer version available?
5.2 SR3 is available - announced at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/78134.aspx
But I would be surprised if it addresses the problem you are seeing

I'm having the same issue.I have version 5.2 SR-2 and getting the same loop of not installing SR-3. I used Windows 8 if that helps any. Also under processes I note that a logos.exe process is launched with a description of "Logos" (not the usual "Logos Bible Software 5" for the process if the Logos 5 is running). This process also states status as "Suspended". I can confirm that if you try to manually close the process you are informed "Access is Denied".I will share more info I find seems relevant or happy to answer any questions posed.

I downloaded the latest version to my desktophttps://s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.logos.com/LBS5/Installer/LogosSetup.exeI then rebooted my computer. Before doing anything else I ran the LogosSetup file. I now have an error stating "Another installation is in process. You must complete that installation before continuing this one". As I've not actually done anything else I'm a little puzzled as to what is "installing". I will keep looking at this issue but if anyone at Logos happens to click what the issue is then I'm happy to hear.
Tried exactly the same thing again and this time it has installed SR-3 Hooray Hope it helps you Michael.
I would have though if the LogosSetup.exe file offered "repair" I would think that would be the option to select. I would say I had to reboot, then avoid launching Logos and ran the LogosSetup.exe file.
I hope my comments prior help technical support be aware of the potential issue and help find a way around it.

I did the re-install. My current version is now back to Logos Bible Software 5.2 SR-2 (5.2.0.0086).

Very strange!
We need the logosIndexer.log + logos.log. So start Logos with CTRL key held and upload logs just after the problem is replicated.
The indexer log shows indexing was cancelled to complete a download and that it reached 1% of 95.6 MB, which is the download I'm now processing. Has the download finished and indexing started?

The logs show the 'reconfiguration' of SR-2 was successful but the download of SR-3 was not! This would require assistance from Logos Support.
