Yes, there is.
Open the app on your IPad.
Tab on the library icon. Turn the library panel down and you will see that it will calculate the number of resources. then the number of resources will show,

Just to clarify, you will need to be connected to the internet to see how many resources are in your entire library. If you click on the library tab it will calculate them automatically and show the number under the find box.
If you are not connected to the internet then if you click on the library icon it will show all the volumes you have downloaded. In this view it doesn't show the number. Just for interest I counted mine and it was 155. I think it need to do some purging on my iPad. [:$]

When in the library window, drag down the area showing resources.
You should see the resource count appear in the top left

This is exactly what I get with my iPhone but this is not what I get on my iPad Mini. Both were updated today with the latest version - 4.0.1.2237.
My iPad Mini doesn't show the resource count in the same way, unless I'm doing something wrong. I'm wondering if this is Mark's issue too. Suggestions?

Are you in list or cover view? Only the former works.

You labeled it alabama! I was in cover view. I thought it worked in both views. [:$] I actually tired list view first and it didn't work but I guess that may have been because it wasn't finished updating.
