Is Logos proud of Verbum?

If so, why not a link to its homepage that'll take you to verbum.com?

In fact, it's really not easy at all to get to the Verbum packages unless you already know they exist somewhere and have the will and patience to find them. You'd have to click on 'more>>' (under Logos websites) at the very bottom of the page where it's hardly visible, then follow the link to Catholic Scripture Study.

The first thing one is probably inclined to try is the drop down menu under 'Products', but that does not list Verbum either. But think you can find it by clicking on Base Packages? Wrong again! Verbum is no where in sight nor is there a link from the Logos 5 base packages page to the Catholic version. Sigh!

The only easy way currently is having to type in and search for 'catholic' in the search box to find the Verbum packages. The Verbum free engine installation file is very hard to find too (I'm not the only one who thinks so).

Making any changes to the Storefront or startpage is very hard, as any notion about Catholicism will scare most potential customers and existing customers - they don't want to see Logos "supporting" "Catholics" (there are others too who are not Catholics who buy Verbum), perhaps not realizing that Logos makes money on the Verbum base-packages and the Catholic Answers Library -base-package too. They are afraid of diversity.

The problem would be easy to solve if there would be a way to "advertise" for free at forums such as Catholic Answers Forum (http://forums.catholic.com) - but that forum is very restrictive about any mention of software that costs more than $0, and/or special sales. If anyone of You guys dare to try, feel free to do so! I might, I'm just not that creative when it comes to usernames and I don't want to spoil this one (which is not registered there).

Logos 2 had a Catholic version ... which came out much later than anticipated in part due to versification issues, if I recall correctly. While there remains considerable prejudice and misinformation about Catholicism, I believe "most" is an overstatement.

Not necessarily as the bar with links is probably a simple include statement. But note Vyrso and Faithlife also lack links while Sermons and WBSA which I suspect get much lighter traffic are included.

My suspicion? Logos hasn't focused its attention on the link bar detail.

As a former Catholic, I recognize this more than most of my fellow evangelicals do! I have my own personal theological reasons for no longer being a Catholic, but most of the anti-Catholic propaganda is WAY off mark. It's scary sometimes!
