I appended this to another thread, but it really deserves it's own.
I would love to have Karl Rahner's Theological Investigations in Logos. They were released this year in a locked PDF format - so they are available electronically....

I appended it to another thread as well ... but I do want to include his brother Hugo ... (now watch, I am terrible with names and will have his brother's name wrong)
Hugo is correct...
i'd like to see that and just about any foundational, seminal work published in Logos. Like David Bosch's "Transforming missions", to name one. If they could "henry fordize" their digital conversion process . . . make these products that only 80 people will buy cheaper than paperback . .. . and we could read 'em, highlight 'em, and search them on our laptop, netbook, or iPhone . . . .WOW!!!!!

Yes! Those, and Foundations of Christian Faith. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this would be a brilliant idea.
I also am hanging out to see Rahner's works on logos.
Please guys let's see what support there is for this in a community pricing attempt. He is one of the most notible theologians of the twentieth century.
Cheers,[:D]
I seem to have somehow missed to add my support to this thread, but better late than never, I guess. [:)]

Welcome to the forums. I'm afraid you won't see Rahner in CP anytime soon. CP is for Public Domain titles, and I suspect I, and perhaps you too, will be long dead before Rahner's books are out of copyright. So prepub is presumably the best we can hope for. I'm sure they will turn up there eventually, I just hope it will be at a price I can afford. And the more support we can drum up, the more likely it is that it will be sooner rather than later.
Bump!
Let's get a Karl Rahner collection. He is considered "one of the most influential Roman Catholic theologians of the 20th century" and yet Logos hasn't got a single book by him, only one book revised by him. The more of these the merrier!
Your rather long list reminds me of a story I heard (I think it's true) about someone who was in his office and looked at the books on the shelves there then asked Rahner whether he had read all of them. Rahner's reply was that he had written all of them.
That reminds me of a story a guy I once knew told me. He had been out hiking one day (in Montana) and came across another hiker. They got talking and it became evident that they were both Christians. At one point my friend asked the other hiker if he'd ever read The Message. He said "I wrote it." Turned out it was Eugene Peterson, who lives in Montana and goes hiking regularly (or did when he was younger, anyway).

Anyway, thanks to your story about Eugene Peterson, I had to look him up because I hadn't heard about him before. I just ended up purchasing The Message. I think I'll enjoy it quite a bit.
I truly appreciate The Message! *smile* Use it frequently!
But! We need always to remember that it IS a paraphrase, eh???!!!
However! What great "Insights" Eugene Peterson has been able to convey to my dense mind ........... *smile*
Peace to all!
