Blank books
When I open TDNT, there is no text. The text to speech will read the book. Logos 5, Windows 7 64 bit. Intel Core i3 2370 2.4 ghz. 6 gb ram.

I've just tried it and it opens fine here so there isn't a general problem with the resource.
You might want to try refreshing your copy - by "hiding" it and then restoring it. Details at http://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books

Just TDNT? All other resources work ok? Are you using the default font?

I have not noticed others. Yes, it is the default font, and I tried changing the font as well.

With Greek font? What about English or Hebrew books? Please post a screenshot of your layout.;

I will Post a screenshot when I can. Greek, Hebrew, English. It doesn't matter the whole book is blank.

Using a white font perhaps ?

I thoufht that might be possible too. I switched the background to black, but I it did not do any thing. When I try to highlight, nothing happens either.

Another thing to try is disabling all your visual filters (drop down under the venn diagram/three circle icon). Some resources have bible text and thus allow the "bible text only" visual filter, but not all the areas in the book include bible text. This can result in the behavior you're describing.

The text size slider is set to the same notch as the LXX in the picture. I clicked on the venn diagram. There was not a Bible text only filter. The only option available was show page number. I turned that off. There was no change.

I finally gave up playing around inside the program. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. The program is now updating and reindexing the collection. I was briefly able to get the program open. When I did that, it said that I did not have license to open the book. The Logos store seems to indicate that I still have the license since I cannot add it to my cart. Hopefully this fixes the problem, but I hope this does not happen again when I do not have the time to uninstall and reinstall such a big program.

Well, I called tech support, they fixed the problem. but the same problem is back. I walked through the steps here in the forum again. I will try to call tech support again, but calling tech support every two months is not acceptable.

I spoke with tech support. My computer had some permissions issues in the temp folder. I changed the permissions, and the text is back. Thank you for your assistance, Logos team.
