One Volume Commentary? I go round and round with that one. For true basics, The Bible Guide is is pretty good. But it is a bit basic for me usually. Better is the New Bible Commentary, the Harper, and the Oxford (no longer available). But actually lately I have been using the notes for the NET Bible. The problem with one volume commentaries is that they are too short for whenever things get interesting...
Daily Devotional? I don't use the ones in Logos. This year I am using the collection of Walther sermons called "God Grant It" in print...

Much of what we prefer is based upon our background and experience. With that said I really like the Faithlife Study Bible in that it provides links to other Logos resources for more depth. I do not always agree with the comments, but then that is why we should have several commentaries to reference.
For devotionals I like Lucado's Grace for the moment for inspiration and Carson's For the Love of God for depth.
Hope this helps.

I've been using this as a devotional reading this year -
https://www.logos.com/product/3433/for-the-love-of-god-vol-1-a-daily-companion-for-discovering-the-riches-of-gods-word
I like that it involves many genres of Scripture each day.
In 2014 I plan to use

The best one volume commentary is not yet available in Logos nor is it available for individual pre-pub. Eerdman's Bible Commentary is the best one volume out there that I have seen,
Eerdmans Commentary Collection (13 vols.)
As for devotional, there are so many but one that I really like is
The 365-Day Devotional Commentary by Larry Richards

I would strongly recommend either the Bible Knowledge Commentary or the ESV Study Bible (or the ESV Study Bible Notes if you already have the ESV Bible). The BKC is actually a two volume commentary, but it is stored in Logos as one. Due to its larger size, It is quite rich for a single commentary. The ESV Study Bible is another great resource and additionally includes a lot of maps, tables, and articles that are very informative.
