Apostolic Fathers IOS bug

Can someone please replicate this bug? The words are out of order, not readable. It is found inside the Ante-Nicene Fathers, Volume 1, Ignatius, chapter 1. It appears to prevalent in all Ignatius' writings. This bug does not exist in Logos 5. I have not checked the Android version. Thanks for checking.

In the ANF, there are two versions of Ignatius' writings, the 'middle' and 'long' recensions. These are presented as tables. What you see above are two-column tables, themselves split into two columns on the page (so there are four columns on the page you see). There should be more space in the gutter to make the table columns more evident, though.

Is there a fix for this in the works? Can I change the settings on my Ipad to make it readable? Thanks.

This has been a problem for a very long time. Logos tries to mimic the original resource as much as possible, but when columns like this are involved, it would be better to go with one column of text instead of two. But the reason the two column is better is for comparison.

It has been reported before.

Logos fixed it quickly for the Feasting on the Word resource. But for the ANF, it is still waiting.

I'm well outside of that process. But I'll forward the discussion on to the team that addresses issues/typos with existing resources so they're aware of the issue. If or when it will be addressed is something I don't know, and have no control over.

To the best of my knowledge this is a known iOS issue where we haven't found an application fix.

From a production angle we've adjusted our production standards so new resources with tables display better on iOS devices. Unfortunately, we have years worth of resources that might not play as well with those devices. As they older resources get systematically updated, one of the updates would be to make sure the tables display well on mobile devices.

We are required to log in (5, IOS, Android, etc.) when we use Logos. Logos keeps stats so they can determine what operating systems their customers use. With tablets being used over 50% of the time (my guess), it should be a priority for Logos to keep both Android and IOS users updated. The Ante-Nicene Fathers is sold with base packages and it's not even compatible with IOS, or Android. Logos can do better.
