Really Enjoying the Logos iOS Update - Nice Touches
First, I mainly use my iPod and iPad for reading; my PC for heavy duty OL.
Thus my 'enjoyment' is simply reading. I also use the Kindle PageWhite (PaperWhite?) and the PC and iOS versions of the Kindle (4 Kindles in all!).
But the Logos reading experience is simply excellent (sure the PageWhite is easier on the eyes but I de-contrast my iOS to calm things down).
Highlighting? Easiest and most sophisticated as well. The Kindle iOS on the iPad is the most interesting in changing highlight colors. Lordy.
Library? This morning I couldn't remember where I left (physically) my Logos book on Alexandrian Christians. I'm not as young as George. But on the iPod, in library view, there's these little bar graphs of your reading progress. How cute!! (also the little circles on the iPad).
I don't know who does the design/development, but nice work. Really a pleasure to read with.

I think Nicky's referring to the font; not the font size? Best I can see, the font choice is fixed.

I love the Logos App. I did under iOS 6 and I do even more now under iOS 7. There are many very good Bible Study apps out there, but Logos is tops!! I even updated my iPad just because the new Logos app came out.
It is very powerful and fast. The note taking and highlighting are the best of the crop.
Thanks for all the hard work that has gone into the app.

We have an Android tablet and an iPad first generation. I was using Vyrso and Logos on each in order to have four books open. The reading and note taking is great. I liked it so much that I just bought a used iPad first generation which is large enough to download my entire library twice (for each app) so I won't be tethered to Wifi.
It might be useful if the Vyrso and Logos apps could share downloads. Now I have to remember which app has my desired book local on my smaller tablets.
The user interface is nicely polished, but there were some stability issues during the initial setup which I documented on another thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/79728.aspx

In iOS, they cannot. Apple is very strict about "sandboxing" data, which prevents the Logos apps from sharing that data with one another.
The user interface is nicely polished, but there were some stability issues during the initial setup which I documented on another thread:
The app works best when:
- Using newest technology
- Only downloading a moderate amount of resources.
- Having small note files
It appears you have the worst of all situations.

Well, now that the Logos dev pried open Pandora (still one of the best by the way) and the box, now we're ALL waiting for vertical swiping (vs horizontal).
Though the real footnotes ARE nice.
