Rod Mattoon's excellent Treasures from Scripture: The New Testament (20 vols.) has languished under the aegis of Gathering Interest for far too long. (The OT corollary is here) His commentaries are insightful and a delight to read.  Pre-order today before that 2013 book budget runs out of steam!

From the Logos description:

"Overview

Treasures from Scripture: New Testament presents 16 expository commentaries with an emphasis on practical application. The commentaries include historical information, alliterated outlines, topical studies, original-language studies, and sermon illustrations to illuminate the biblical text. This easy-to-read collection makes Scripture more interesting and informative. It will enrich your understanding of God’s word and assist you in preparing for your next Bible study, Sunday school class, or sermon. An additional 4 volumes provide further scriptural insight: Treasures from the Sermon on the Mount (2 vols.) and Treasures from the Names of Jesus (2 vols.).

In the Logos edition, each Scripture passage links to your favorite translation, and you can read Tresures titles side by side with your other commentaries. This makes these volumes more powerful and easier to access than ever before. Perform detailed searches by topic or Scripture reference—finding, for example, every mention of “love” or “redeemer.”"

I think it's languished so long because software W has it cheaper -- $199.95 for both the NT and OT collection.  I mean, there's not much tagging to do on this one, just like John G. Butler, so I don't understand why it would be more expensive in Logos.  Oh well...

I agree that cost is most likely a deciding factor, but the inconvenience of multiple software packages, inability to cross reference between multiple packages, and the advantages of the Logos feature set make paying a premium worth the additional cost for me.  I hope others see the value of both the series and having them in Logos.....

    Praise for the Print Edition

The books are some of the best material I’ve read and studied. They fed me. It has been a joy and blessing to study these books.

—Mike Oldham, pastor, Central Baptist Temple, Sanford, North Carolina

I have been reading and studying through Dr. Mattoon’s Treasure series and I must say that they have truly been a blessing to me. Not only do they contain a wealth of information but they have also helped me to study the Bible in a way that I had not before. Consequently, they have helped me in my own sermon preparation. The Bible believing world has needed such resources.

—Walter Myers, pastor, First Bible Baptist Church, Maynard, Massachusetts

I never thought the presentation of truth could be as practical, clear, timely, and satisfying. The books are like a prepared meal ready to eat.

—David Tandoc, pastor, Dagapapn City, Philippines

This is excellent material. It is probably the most practical material for sermon preparation of anyone that I have read. I highly recommend it for pastors.

—Roy Edgemon, former director of discipleship and family ministries, LifeWay Christian Resources

Dr. Rod Mattoon has obviously searched the Scriptures in the production of the Treasures commentary series. Perusing these works will reveal the depth and breadth of his scholarship. I recognize the value of this resource for students of the Bible. I heartily recommend it.

—Franklin L. Kirksey, pastor, First Baptist Church, Spanish Fort, Alabama

Dr. Mattoon’s commentaries are well outlined, sound in exposition and rich in practical application. In addition there are numerous topical studies in each volume. This series is worth the investment.

—Glen Spencer, pastor, Vernon Baptist Church, Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania

I don't usually bump 8 year old threads - at least not intentionally lol, but this is currently due to ship on June 29th at a cost of $149.99 https://www.logos.com/product/154966/treasures-from-the-scriptures-complete-collection

All the resources are showing that none are available yet. What, therefore, does that mean?

We see Gathering Interest and our eyes glaze over the phrase as if it's an ant on the sidewalk. Any meaning it once had is fully desiccated, and its continued use insults our intelligence.

An analysis of many ancient cognate pictogram languages indicates it was once expressed as  \_(ツ)_/

The philologists were able to determine this because some of those writings were an ancient Logos user's Open Pre-Pubs page and he's still waiting for them.

All of these resources will be available when this Pre-Pub goes live.  The product page has been updated accordingly.
