Hi Geoff - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems but can you provide some more details.
Graham
Although Graham is a Windows user, he has given you the correct steps to getting assistance. Some more questions
—How did you install Logos 5 on your Mac?
—Are you running Mac OS 10.6.8 or later? Logos 5 is not compatible with earlier versions.
I included this info in my first post - I'm frustrated that it didn't post!
I'm running OS X 10.9.1 and Logos 5 version: 5.2.0.91
I've been using Logos 5 on my Mac for months. I sent it to trash and then downloaded the file and dragged it to applications.
I've tried copying the .log files but they won't appear in this post.
25643.Logos.log
I'll leave it to some of the Mac experts to advise on that
Have you tried using the paperclip icon to attach them?
Yes, I've tried using the paperclip icon...
[Nevermind. You probably did the right steps. I just tried to do this myself, and the forum software must be currently broken for Safari on Mac. Can you check another browser?]
Will do...
It appears to be working at present on safari... but it would NOT work when I tried earlier. So, you aren't going crazy. [:S]
4604.LogosError.log
[:)]
Normally, we would ask to see your logos.log file, and not just your error log... but I think I have your solution. You have a corrupted database file. Delete your history.db file and restart logos. The path is listed below. Remember: your user library is hidden by default. Google "show user library OSX" if you don't know how to access it.
In the future, or if this fix doesn't work, see the link in my signature line for a small, helper app from Logos to enable and zip your log files.
/Users/geofffolland/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/gvyhhvuj.fbq/HistoryManager/history.db
Thanks so much. This worked!
Glad to help.[:)]
I'm experiencing the same problem but no luck on this side. i tried deleting history db but still nothing
Welcome [:D]
Logos 5 not launching can have a number of causes. Would like to look at Logos diagnostic log files.

FYI: the advise to delete history db was given after reading messages in LogosError.log file.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Welcome Felix! Sorry you are having troubles. [:S]
Just because you have the same or similar symptom, doesn't mean you have the "same problem." My wife and I both gained weight since the beginning of the year. I did so because I started a new desk job and sit all day long. She did because we are expecting another child. [;)] The point: Please don't take someone else's medicine. Deleting the history.db file isn't a big deal. If you read something else in the forum, taking that medicine might... so don't ever do that!
It would be helpful for you to create a new thread, explain your issue clearly, and post logs.
Now you should let the program update from 5.2 SR-3 to the latest version 5.2a (restart the program or type update now into the Command box).
